Product Details

ADAMA Hastar is a broad-spectrum post-emergence herbicide containing Tembotrione 34.4% w/w SC. It belongs to the triketone group and is designed for control of important grassy and broadleaf weeds in maize. Hastar inhibits the HPPD enzyme, disrupting carotenoid formation and causing characteristic bleaching of susceptible weeds followed by their death.

APPLICATION & USAGE

• Application Method: Post-emergence foliar spray

• Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate)

• Recommended Dose: 115 ml/acre as per product recommendation.

• Application Timing: Apply when weeds are actively growing and at the recommended 2–5 leaf stage.

• Surfactant: Use the recommended non-ionic surfactant as directed on the product label.

• Spray Equipment: Use properly calibrated spraying equipment for uniform coverage.

HOW TO USE

1. Read the product label carefully before use.

2. Use only in maize and against approved target weeds.

3. Measure the recommended quantity accurately.

4. Prepare the spray solution using clean water.

5. Add the recommended surfactant according to label instructions.

6. Apply uniformly over actively growing weeds.
